As usual today’s trip to Queen Elizabeth was amazing. We couldn’t quite squeeze as much homework out of them as we wanted, but there was a bit more than our first visit of the term and there was some reading as well. Jessie Leath an her family came and brought balloons which were a bit hit and awesome kites that I’m sure the kids will have a blast with once they get to use them! Big thanks!! To see some awesome pictures of QE, check out James Forester’s site! Next week we will still be going to Queen Elizabeth (leaving by bus from in front of Charter Hall at 3pm) but myself and whoever wants to join me will be going to take a visit to Dorothy Hopkins home for the disabled which is right next door. They are always in need of support and attention and I am hoping to make regular trips over their along side of our usual QE trips. All are welcome! If you want more information on Dorothy Hopkins you can email me at email@example.com (one of their volunteers gave me some very helpful tips and tools for our visits that I would love to share). Also remember that AMSAs blood drive is this Wednesday so come and donate or email me if you would like to help out!!
